Get To Know Your Customers Day #HashtagStory

Today is National Get To Know Your Customers Day and here at HASHTAG SUPPLY CO. we love our customers and fans. One of the things we really believe in is that each and everyone of you has a unique story. At HASHTAG SUPPLY CO. we want to hear that story and help you tell it to the world. We will be featuring our customers and fans on our blog and social media channels so that you can get the same inspiration and motivation that we do from others.

Liza Nielson is a customer and fan of ours and when we first saw her Instagram page we were blown away.  Liza takes some amazing photos that are true to her unique artistic style and she is one crazy awesome artist. We sat down with Liza to get an insight into her world and here is what she had to say.

I really love your style of dress, your photography and your artwork, Can you please tell me how you became so artistic and what type of art do you create and why? And is that your only hobby?

I guess you could say being artistic was always in my blood. My brother and sister are just, if not more, artistic than I am. My whole family is all about creativity, and expressing yourself as much as possible. I love to do abstract art because I feel as though I can really create anything! With abstract art there are no limits, with art in general, I suppose there are no limits, and I guess that's why I love it so much. Creating has always been a way for me to express myself, and release built up emotions. It has always been somewhat therapeutic for me as well. It is actually not my only hobby though! I love to bake, because it is also creating. I can put together any ingredients to create new and exciting desserts. I am also extremely passionate about makeup. It's also art to me, the face is a canvas. I can create all kinds of looks to reflect peoples personalities. It has always been an interest of mine, and with time, patience and practice it has become one of my greatest talents.

What are your dreams for the future?

My ultimate dream for the future is to end up doing something that I love, that makes me happy. I feel as though you should have a job you are excited to go to, and that you feel passionate about or you can never really give your all. My dream job would to be a cosmetologist. Makeup is one of my favorite art forms. I am able to play around with texture and tones. Makeup is something that I am truly passionate about and would love to continue doing in the future.

Describe your personality.

I would describe my personality as mostly laid back. I am up for almost anything! I love to go on adventures and explore. My goal in life is to see people happy, so the way I act around the people I love is crazy and loud. If I can put a smile on anyone's face I believe that I have accomplished something. I would call myself funny, in a different kind of way. In the right situation, I am loud, and "the life of the party". I would like to think of myself as a kind person too, I truly believe that I have a good heart.

What is one thing you would change about the world and why?

Something that I would change about the world is that I wish cancer didn't exist. Cancer is something that has heavily affected me, as well as the people I love. It would be a dream come true to never ever have to have a single person go through what me and my family have been through. Cancer can greatly affect lives in such a negative way, and no one needs or deserves the amount of pain and sadness that cancer can bring.

If you could give someone 1 piece of advice, what would it be?

If I could give one piece of advice to someone, it would be to live. Live life to the fullest. Make mistakes, have fun, be loud, do crazy things. We only have a short time here, and you should spend every second truly living. Let the people that you love, KNOW you love them. Your family is always going to be around, treat them well. Your parents are THE  most important  people in your life, don't forget that. My parents have done so much for me, including simple things like laundry and huge things like putting a roof over my head. Spend time with your parents, you don't know how long they, and you, will be around. Love everyone, and don't be angry all the time. Find happiness. Being truly happy is quite possibly the greatest feeling in the world. I suppose that's more than one piece of advice, but to sum it up - live life to the fullest, and make the very most of the short time we have here.

Liza's favorite case.
